Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Version 2.0.1 have been found to have a new bug causing crashes.
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet version 2.0.1 has been impacted by a bug that can cause the game to crash during the final boss battle when players hover over the Pokédex slot containing either Koraidon (Scarlet) or Miraidon (Violet).
To replicate the bug, players must be in the final boss battle against the Paradise Protection Protocol, have Koraidon or Miraidon registered in the Pokédex, and hover over the Pokédex slot containing Koraidon or Miraidon. The bug only affects players who have updated to version 2.0.1, and Game Freak is working on a fix.
To avoid the bug, players should not update to version 2.0.1 until a patch is released, save their game before entering the final boss battle, and exit the Pokédex menu if hovering over the slot. If the bug is experienced, players can report it to Game Freak by following their website instructions.
